Meet the Doctors
Dr. Andrew Henritze – Founder
Dr. Andrew Henritze, a native of Roanoke, graduated cum laude from both Virginia Tech and the Medical College of Virginia at Virginia Commonwealth University. After his dental residency at the University of Florida, he returned to Roanoke in 1997 and began his private practice. Dr. Henritze offers comprehensive dental care, including preventative, restorative, and cosmetic procedures. He enjoys coaching youth sports, playing music, and spending time with his family.

Dr Bradley R. Oliver
We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Brad Oliver and his expertise to our Rocky Mount location. We look forward to him serving this community for years to come.
Dr. Oliver is a Roanoke native who brings a wealth of knowledge and top-level experience to our family practice. To improve his skills and stay up-to-date on the latest research and techniques in restorative, cosmetic, and implant dentistry, Dr. Oliver prides himself on taking regular continuing education courses. Dr. Oliver earned his undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology (this helps explain his pleasant chair-side manner) and is a distinguished graduate of the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore.
Dr. Brian Alexander
Dr. Alexander grew up in Chesapeake, VA. He attended the University of Virginia where he earned a BA in Biology. He then went on to the VCU/Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry in Richmond, VA. He was awarded a two year Navy Scholarship to help pay for dental school. Upon graduating in 1999 he went into the US Navy and served three years as a dental officer. He was stationed on board the USS Theodore Roosevelt CVN 71 when September 11, 2001 happened. His ship participated in Operation Enduring Freedom in the Arabian Sea for six months. While in dental school Dr. Alexander met his wife Nicki. Brian and Nicki have three boys Andrew, Carter and Eli. Dr. Alexander moved to Franklin County in 2002 and worked in Roanoke for 3 years. Dr. Alexander opened the doors of his new office on June 15, 2005. Dr. Alexander and his family love Franklin County and the people he serves.
Dr. James Jordan
Dr. James Jordan grew up in Martinsville and graduated from Martinsville High School in 1978. He graduated from the University of Richmond with an undergraduate degree in Biology and he went on to receive his dental degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. After graduating from dental school, he returned in 1986 to Martinsville to practice. Professionally he is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Virginia Dental Association (VDA).
Like many dentists, Dr. Jordan has a passion for providing the community with healthy smiles. When he is not creating beautiful smiles, he enjoys music, hiking in the mountains and spending time with his family.
Dr. John Fitzgerald
Dr. Fitzgerald is a graduate of the VCU School of Dentistry in Richmond where he was also inducted in the dental honor society. He earned his undergraduate degree at Hampden-Sydney College with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and minors in Biology and Public Service and his AEGD at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Dr. Fitzgerald grew up outside Richmond in Midlothian, VA. He comes from a medical family–his mother is a dentist, his father a pharmacist, and has two siblings in nursing. In his spare time he loves the outdoors and spends time hunting, fishing and golfing.

Dr. Kelly Golden
Born and raised in Amherst County, VA. Dr. Golden graduated in 1985 and enlisted in the United States Navy where he was a Steelworker in the Seabees. After active duty, he remained in the U.S. Naval Reserves thru college. He completed his undergraduate studies at Holy Cross Catholic School University and graduated from Medical College of Virginia/VCU School of Dentistry in 1997. After Dental School, Dr. Golden joined his father, Dr. Thomas Golden, in the practice he started in 1965. He is an active member of The Virginia Dental Association, American Dental Association, Virginia Academy of Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry as well as local and international study clubs. Dr. Golden has completed over 500 hours of continuing education in the various aspects of dentistry. He is currently pursuing a fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. He met his wife, Wendy, in college, and they have 3 children, Noah, Lynley and Haden.

Dr. Kevin Greenway
Dr. Greenway was born and raised in the Roanoke Valley and has been providing dental care in the region for more than twenty years. He attended Ferrum College and the University of South Florida, and then went on to receive a doctorate at Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. Upon graduation he joined the practice of his father, Dr. Ralph N. Greenway, and Dr. George T. Richardson. He volunteers at the Bradley Free Clinic in Roanoke. He is the proud father of two wonderful daughters, Jessica and Rachel, and enjoys traveling, reading, and playing golf.

Dr Richard Newton
Dr. Richard Newton is a Roanoke College alumnus who has lived in Roanoke for more than 60 years. He enjoys interacting with his patients and being involved with their overall health. After 34 years of practicing in various settings, he still has a passion for dentistry and enjoys coming to work each day. When he’s not in the office, he might be found behind the wheel of one of his three classic cars or spending time with his two dogs, a black German Shepherd named Otto and a Great Dane named Howie.

Dr. Risa Clark
Dr. Clark holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from James Madison University and a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. After graduating, she became a staff dentist with Piedmont Virginia Dental Health Foundation in Martinsville, Virginia. During her five-year tenure there, she served in a variety of leadership roles. More recently, Dr. Clark was in private practice as an associate dentist in Lebanon, Virginia. She and her husband recently welcomed a daughter to the family and are looking forward to raising her in Henry County.

Dr. Steven Anama
Dr. Anama has an undergraduate BS in Biology degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. He received his DDS degree from Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia, School of Dentistry. Since 1996, he has practiced in various dental offices in the Greater Roanoke Valley and finally, settled into his current office in the year 2000.
Dr. Anama is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Virginia Dental Association (VDA), and the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD).
He is an active member of Covenant Presbyterian Church. Enjoys playing golf, tennis, and church softball. Avid sports fan especially Men’s College Basketball. Loves the Beach. But most of all, he enjoys the time spent with his wife and 3 children.
